Moses: God prepares a rescuer

We continued our sermon series in Exodus and found ourselves right at the beginning of the life of Moses. While the story may have been familiar to some of us, Andrew showed how the story of Moses was a picture of what was to come through Jesus. It was so encouraging to see how God had a plan for Moses right from the beginning of his life, and how even when it seemed that Moses had hit rock bottom, God was still right there alongside him.

God’s promises are never wasted, He always provides and when He makes a promise, He always delivers. Throughout this story we see a picture of God’s grace as he continually rescues Moses. Even if we feel like we are in a desert place, God can meet us there. He knows our hearts and he hears our prayers. Let’s lean on Him today!
