Youth
School years 9 to 13
Ampthill Baptist Church runs a wide range of activities and groups throughout the year specifically for young people that include weekly groups, trips out, weekends away, camps, and special events, all of which are open to any young person of the right age.
Young people are key at ABC and able to get involved with a church that is passionate about investing in their lives, helping build firm Christian foundations, encouraging young leaders and supporting spiritual growth.

FRIDAYS
Open House
On Friday evenings we open up the church for young people to hang out - everyone’s welcome. We’ll have different activities happening in different rooms that you can dip in and out of, football, video games, pool, air hockey, table tennis, etc. We’ll finish the night having a bite to eat together while someone shares a thought for the week.

SUNDAYS
Celebrations and After Eights
We run discipleship groups for young people where we socialise together, share what's going on in our lives and discuss relevant topics. We draw input from the Bible and explore what it looks like to become Jesus' fully devoted followers. Each Sunday we have a planned social activity for an hour, and also have an hour discussion and study time. It's a great place to go deeper and ask as many questions as you like.

Register your child
To properly look after the young people who attend our events, we need their up-to-date details and the contact details of a parent/guardian. For your child to attend events run by Ampthill Baptist Church, you need to please complete our registration form, which can be done online.
Parents
If you’re a parent or guardian of a young person who attends any of the youth activities at Ampthill Baptist Church, you can keep up to date with what’s going on and make contact with other parents within the group through our “ABC Youth Parents” Facebook group. It’s a useful space to discuss with other parents about lifts to/from events, etc.
Our top priority is looking after children and young people. All our leaders are DBS checked, undergo safeguarding, first aid and other training regularly and adhere to our safeguarding policy.
