Surviving the storm

The Six Thirty was back and we were talking about surviving the storm: how do we cope when everything is turned upside down? Martin used this familiar passage to remind us how easy it is to hear God’s word but not put it into practice. We might know this parable like the back of our hand, but are we actually building our lives on a firm foundation? Every day we have the opportunity to dig deeper into our faith, to put our trust & security in the Lord, so that we can withstand the storms that life throws our way. Let’s keep working on our foundations, building our lives on Jesus. 🧱
